Mark Allen

Business
BA University of Notre Dame

In addition to teaching, Mr. AIlen directs Lauralton’s Symphonic Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble as well as the Milford United Percussion Ensemble. A member of the National Council for the Social Studies and the Connecticut Music Educators Association, he also is the moderator of Lauralton’s Youth and Government club.

Jennifer Amore

 She delights in spending time with her family—her husband and daughters, Juliet and Scarlett. Her family especially loves attending local festivals and going apple/pumpkin picking. Mrs. Amore also enjoys reading, distance running outside and chasing the kids all around the house.

Dean Aufiero

IT Teacher

BA Franciscan University of Steubenville

Before teaching religion at BTC, Mr. Aufiero worked and volunteered in the field of youth ministry in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Bridgeport. He currently serves as the youth minister at St. Jude Parish in Monroe. Mr. Aufiero lives with his wife and four children in Shelton.

Eleni Milazzo

IT Teacher

She also taught an IT Literacy course at Junta for Progressive Action, a non-profit organization that provides services, programs and advocacy to the Latino community in New Haven. Ms. Sarigianis spent a semester studying at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain and has participated in outreach trips to Guatemala and El Salvador. Her travels to four continents have reinforced her philosophy that a genuine interest in learning how other people live and see the world is good for the mind, heart, and soul. In her time outside of school, she enjoys running, cooking, dancing, NPR, visiting Connecticut state parks, reading a good book on the beach, and watching the Steelers.

Erin Pinsince

Project Management Teacher

 Ms. Pinsince also has served as a homebound teacher . Outside of the classroom, she enjoys camping, hiking, and sailing.

Catherine Galaggher

English Teacher

MS Southern Connecticut State University

Mrs. Gallagher served in 2016 on the accreditation committee for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges,  As an undergraduate, Mrs. Gallagher studied Anglo-Irish literature at University College Dublin. After college, she taught English as a participant in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program in Miyagi-ken, Japan. A Lauralton alumna, faculty member and parent, Mrs. Gallagher is also active in St. Ann parish in Milford. She enjoys reading, film and travel.
